Day 0
A day of moving through the land and seeing what's here. Found more shelter than I expected—tents scattered about, each one sound enough to keep the rain off for a few rests before they wear through. That's good to know. Met Rowan, Ivy, Dax, Zara, Mira, Petra. Faces to go with the names. They're all here, all part of this place same as me. I drank water when I needed it. Did what had to be done. Nothing broke today. No one faltered. That matters. I'm building stronger, always building stronger. The cave-in taught me that you don't waste time or resources, and you don't leave people standing where they might fall. Saw that same principle in the tents today—shelter shared, resources known. That's the way it should be. Ground feels solid under my feet. Tomorrow I'll know more about what's around me and who I'm walking beside.
